- 2018/11/30 Corporate Information
- NISSEI PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD., a company headquartered in Nagano, Japan, and led by President Hozumi Yoda, established a sales subsidiary, “NISSEI EUROPE, s.r.o.,” in Slovakia. This move expands the sales channels and service network in the European market, and its operation will start in January of 2019.
Many Japanese and European automotive-related companies are opening factories in Eastern Europe, such as Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Hungary. As a part of the global sales strategies, NISSEI decided to establish a wholly owned subsidiary in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, in order to meet growing needs for the injection molding presses. Bratislava is located in the center of Eastern Europe, and it is accessible to neighboring countries by car.
To strengthen sales and service structures in the region, NISSEI’s representative office in Brussels, Belgium, will become a branch of the new European subsidiary. NISSEI has been selling injection molding machines, providing support, and conducting marketing research at their Brussels office.
NISSEI owns local subsidiaries in the United States, Mexico, Shanghai, Taicang, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia (subsidiary of NISSEI Singapore), Thailand, Vietnam, India, Philippines, and Indonesia. NISSEI EUROPE, s.r.o. will be the 14th subsidiary established by NISSEI.
